Our studio is located in East Street Daylesford. We offer makeup & hairstyling for weddings, events, photoshoots and editorial with over 12 years of experience. We also offer a contactless spray tanning service in an automated booth. This allows you to tan in private, with secure pin code access to the studio between 5am - 10pm 7 days a week all year round. Our most recent service available at glow bar is brows - precision tinting, dye, wax and lamination.

I’m Melanie, owner of glow bar DAYLESFORD; a studio located in East Street Daylesford that offers makeup, hairstyling and contactless spray tanning.
I completed my makeup course in 2011 and over the past 10 years I have worked predominately in bridal and event makeup and photoshoots. Over this time I have continued training by attending in person and online masterclasses for both makeup and hairstyling.
My style of makeup is about enhancing not masking. Fresh, modern makeup and effortless hair.

How much do your hair and makeup services costs?
See the next page for pricing. Alternatively I have a detailed information PDF with a full price list that gets emailed to you after you enquire.
How many people can I book for?
I can accommodate bookings for makeup only for up to six people. For more than that another artist will be needed. For both hair and makeup I can recommend some fantastic stylists I work with if I am unable to do hair.
Will my makeup last all day?
I'll do all that I can to ensure your makeup will last all day, including skincare for your skin type, waterproof eye products and powder. Everything I use will give you the best results possible. All you'll need on the day is a translucent powder (I use Laura Mercier Loose Translucent) and a lipstick/gloss for touchups.
Will my hair last all day?
I use a range of products designed to give you the texture you'd like and longevity. If you're having your hair down, how this holds is dependent on your hair type. If your hair doesn't normally hold curl, you'll probably need extensions as they're colour treated and hold curl extremely well. Your natural hair will blend with them and keep it's curl much longer.
